Our flagship event of the year has a new home. In 2026, the Spirit Australia Five Day Seminar moves to our private five acre property in Ingleside, Northern Sydney, for a smaller, more personal and deeply immersive week of learning, development and connection. Led by respected international educators Robin Hodson and Jason Goldsworthy, this year's Seminar is strictly limited to just 24 participants. From our welcome dinner at 6pm on Sunday 20 September through to afternoon tea on Friday 25 September 2026, we'll learn, practise, question, share and explore together. There are no fixed streams and no nominated groups. We'll come together as a group of 24, moving naturally into smaller groups according to experience, areas of interest and the direction of the teaching. Experienced practitioners will have space to explore at depth, while those continuing their development can strengthen their understanding, discernment and connection. Throughout the week, expect authentic teaching, practical experience, thoughtful conversation and opportunities for genuine breakthroughs, guided by Robin and Jason, supported by one another and, of course, inspired directly by Spirit. Last year, Spirit Australia opened this event to the wider community for the first time, welcoming those who were curious, interested or simply unable to attend our Five Day Seminar. The response was wonderful. So we're doing it again! The Spirit Australia One Day Workshop returns on Sunday 27 September 2026 at Macquarie University, with all meals included, easy free parking and excellent Metro access. On Sundays, you can also travel across buses, trains, Metro and ferries using your Opal card for just $9.45. Hooray! BEGINNERS, CURIOUS MINDS AND EVEN SCEPTICS ARE WELCOME. One Day Workshop
What level of experience or ability is necessary?
The Spirit Australia One Day Workshop is open to everyone.
Obviously, we hope you have an interest in the subject, otherwise why would you come?! But genuinely, an interest is all you need.
You may have tried meditation, had a psychic reading that left you intrigued, experienced something you couldn't quite explain, or simply have a feeling that you'd like to explore further. You don't need previous training, a particular ability or any specific belief.
You may work professionally in teaching, psychology, wellbeing or the healing sectors and find that your intuition is becoming turbo-charged. If you're seeking clarity, structure and greater discernment about what you're experiencing, where it may lead and what's right for you, come and meet others travelling similar pathways.
Or you may have spent many years studying, developing or working with Spirit. You may be SBNR (Spiritual but Not Religious), a dedicated Spiritualist, or simply your own unique self with your own relationship to the metaphysical world.
We also warmly welcome experienced practitioners seeking fresh perspectives, greater community and a more open approach to spirit education. Society has changed enormously in recent decades, and the way we learn, share and talk about Spirit can evolve too.

Ok, that sounds good, so how about some further details on what will happen at the workshop?
On a very Earthly level, at the One Day Workshop you'll enjoy morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, all included, and meet people who share your curiosity and interest in exploring something new.
From there, the day is yours. Do as much or as little as feels right for you.
Throughout the Workshop, you'll be invited to watch, listen, ask questions and take part in a range of interactive experiences, demonstrations and conversations exploring awareness beyond our ordinary everyday experience.
There is no pressure to participate. You can join in, observe, smile, relax and simply see what unfolds.
We'll explore areas such as psychic senses, evidential mediumship, trance states, channeling, sound and energy, and spiritual tools like tarot and pendulums. We'll also touch some of the bigger questions around evidence, science and logic, professional conduct, cultural ethics and near death experiences.
Some moments may make perfect sense. Others may challenge what you think you know. And occasionally, something may simply leave you wondering.
The One Day Workshop also offers a taste of Spirit Australia's flagship Five Day Seminar. If you've been curious about deeper development but aren't yet ready to commit the time or investment, this is a wonderful place to begin.

Do I need to have experience in - or even believe in - psychic ability and mediumship?
No, not at all. You're interested, and that's more than enough.
Everyone is welcome at the One Day Workshop. Yes, there will be some advanced practitioners comfortably there and sitting on a seat near you, but hey, they were beginners once too! Some of our advanced practitioners attend the One Day Workshop as professional development for their own teaching skills. You don't need to arrive with a belief, or an ability, or an answer.
Bring your questions and your own healthy discernment.
We'll provide opportunities to explore, experience and decide for yourself.

Five Day Seminar
What level of experience or ability is necessary?
The Five Day Seminar is immersive and designed for people who already have some experience of spiritual, intuitive or awareness-based practices.
You don't need to be a professional practitioner or advanced medium, but this is not an introductory event for complete beginners.
If you're comfortable with meditation, intuitive awareness, energy work or other spiritual practices, you'll likely be able to explore and integrate the experiences most relevant to you.
With only 24 participants, we'll work together as one group and move into smaller groups according to experience, areas of interest and the direction of the teaching. This allows experienced practitioners to explore at depth without expecting everyone to be at the same point in their development.
There is no single level you need to reach. But you should arrive ready to explore, participate and grow.

We are each travelling our own unique pathway. The aim isn't to be further ahead. It's to be in tune with our true nature, and be ready for your next step when the time is right.
Will I still be challenged if I'm already an experienced practitioner?
Yes. In fact, the new Five Day Seminar format has been designed with experienced practitioners very much in mind.
With only 24 participants, Robin and Jason have the freedom to respond to the people in front of them, rather than teaching a fixed program to a nominated group.
We'll come together for shared teaching, conversation and experience, while also moving into smaller groups according to experience, areas of interest and the direction of the work.
If you have spent many years developing mediumship, trance, healing or other areas of spirit communication, you will have opportunities to explore at depth, question established ways of working and consider what your own next stage of development may look like.
For some, that may be greater depth or refinement in their practice. For others, it may involve teaching, mentoring, ethics, leadership or finding meaningful ways to share what they have learned.
Experience doesn't mean development is finished.
Sometimes it simply changes the questions we are ready to ask.
