How is Spirit Australia organisation formed?
Spirit Australia is formed as a Public Company Limited by Guarantee registered by ASIC (Australia Securities & Investments Commission) and as a registered national charity with the ACNC (Australian Charities & Not-for-Profits Commission) for the charitable purposes of Advancing Education.
There are three Directors and a Governing Board of twelve people, elected by members every two years, plus various Advisory and administrative roles. Currently all of the team are 100% volunteers.

Spirit Australia is Non-Religious and Non-Commercial in our approach. We welcome individuals and groups of all religions or none, with the understanding that Spirit Australia Nine Foundations and Spirit Australia Code of Ethics & Conduct are fundamental in supporting our organisation. We ensure that all our financial dealings are transparent, accountable & available to Spirit Australia members or the general public upon request.

Our Charitable Activites are primarily focussed on providing the Australian general public with accessible, free, peer reviewed, best practise, excellent quality education regarding the nature of spirituality & the reality of continuous spiritual life.

Our Fundraising Activites include seeking and accepting donations, membership, the sale of promotional products, and by offering accreditation & advanced education courses.

Membership is available in three categories:
* SUPPORTERS: Education students and the general public
* PRACTITIONERS: Individual people offering spiritual services
* COMMUNITY: Spiritualist churches and other community groups

We are an approved & registered National Charity for the purposes of Advancing Education. We are inspired to support all Australians by uniting awareness and promoting excellence in Spiritual Education, Practitioners & Community organisations right across our beautiful country.
